6/20/25 - Neuroscience Night
Over 25 students, ranging from preschool to high school students, learned all about the brain and took home goodie bags with a sticker, some snacks and a brain-shaped eraser! This event was supported by 2 LHS volunteers.
7/19/25 - Neuroscience Night (China)
Neuroscience Night, but this time in China! The curriculum was tweaked to fit local standards and also shortened so that more students would be able to attend. Over 30 students participated this time, again with goodie bags with a sticker and a brain-shaped eraser. Immense thanks to the Shaanxi Nature Museum for providing the space for this event.
8/15/25 - Cold Emailing Webinar
Students learned how to get an internship without connections, as a backup for a summer research program, or as a younger high schooler. Featured presentations from high schoolers who have cold-emailed for competitive internships, as well as high-schoolers who have been accepted into prestigious summer programs.
10/18/25 - NeuroFest
NeuroFest is TNA's annual online webinar for all things neuroscience! 30+ participants had the chance to listen to their peers explain their research, how to start researching, play some fun games and have a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card! 5 youth, including one with an article published in a Q1 journal, presented their research. Event supported through partnership with Youth Neuroscience Association of Nigeria.
Fundraisers
Our pay-what-you-can dumpling fundraiser, which was a huge hit!
We hosted our first business-supported fundraiser at Chipotle with 25% of money earned donated to us. Thank you to everyone who came out and ate some good food while supporting us!
