FOR THE TEENS, BY THE TEENS

Teen Neuroscience Alliance is dedicated to helping teenagers and marginalized groups show the world a glimpse inside their brains through neuroscience and psychology advocacy and education.  Want a place to publish your work, a community of like-minded people, or simply a place to talk about neuroscience? TeenNeuro has you covered.

Our
Story

Teen Neuroscience Alliance started as a way for teens to get together and learn about the brain in an easy, accessible format, while still remaining faithful to science, especially when biology curriculums often skipped over the brain altogether. It has since grown from a school-wide effort at Lincoln High School and the surrounding Seattle area to over 5 chapters around the world and has members in 10+ countries.

EDUCATION

Whether it's your first time learning about neuroscience or your second research paper, there is something at TeenNeuro for everyone! We also work to promote science literacy, teaching students to look at the journal behind the headlines, and work to streamline Neuroscience education for all.

LEADERSHIP

Want to work with a team of international students? Add to your resume of experiences in neuroscience and psychology? Or just want to have fun learning about the second-largest organ in our body? Whether you answered yes to one, two or all of the questions above, we welcome you to join our team!

Do you want to become a psychologist, neuroscientist, or anything in between? Do you want to show the world a glimpse of voices unheard? TeenNeuro has resources for you! Learn about career pathways in neuroscience and psychology and connect with experienced mentors.
