Meet TNA Lexington's Team
Sam Lee
President
Hey, I'm Sam, an underclassman passionate about cellular biology and neuroscience, specifically how cellular mechanisms employed during music play can influence neuroplasticity. I'm grateful for this opportunity to pursue neuroscience while spreading awareness and knowledge to people who don't realize how much teens can impact their community. I hope to create a welcoming space for teens to collaborate, deepen their understanding of neuroscience, and grow as individuals and changemakers.
Katherine Wang
Vice President
Hi! My name is Katherine Wang, a freshman at Lexington High School with a passion for biology, chemistry, and math. I am particularly fascinated by neuroscience, with a specific interest in neurodegenerative diseases and the potential of neuronal and myelin regeneration to treat conditions like MS, ALS, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Outside of academics, I enjoy baking, playing badminton and frisbee, or listening to Tate McRae and Keshi. As a four-year Science Olympiad veteran, I’ve earned numerous medals and captained William Diamond Middle School’s team in eighth grade, helping lead both the Science Olympiad and Science Bowl teams to state championships. This year, I am also a semifinalist in the USA Biology Olympiad.
